Kurt Nielsen

Chief Executive Officer, Partner. Kurt combines economics and information management to develop innovative IT services and businesses. He holds a PhD in Business Economics with combined graduate studies at the University of Copenhagen, University of Toronto and UC Berkeley. He co-founded Partisia, Energiauktion.dk, Sepior, Partisia Blockchain Foundation and Partisia Quantum, and serves as CEO of Partisia Group. Previously Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen.

Peter F. Frandsen

Chief Operating Officer, Partner. Peter has 20 years of experience in software development as a developer and manager at Vestas, Dansk Supermarked and Rambøll Management Consulting. Since 2017 he has worked on advanced cryptographic technology at Partisia and Secata, making zero-knowledge computations feasible in real-world scenarios. He also serves as an external examiner for computer sciences in Denmark.

Mark Medum Bundgaard

Chief Product Officer. Mark is a Computer Scientist from Aarhus University. He has extensive experience in cloud-native architecture, infrastructure as code and blockchain architecture. Previous roles include TDC NET, cloud-compliance solutions for Danske Bank, real-time recommendation engines for Jyllands-Posten, and Toit, the first secure IoT platform.

Niklas Nielsen

Chief Commercial Officer. Niklas brings nearly three decades of expertise in business growth, startups, sales and go-to-market strategies. With a strong foundation in telecom and 20 years across the Middle East, he brings a global perspective and engages effectively with customers worldwide.

Jesper Balman Gravgaard

Chief Technology Officer. Jesper has extensive experience creating and operating complex software, previously as Director for development, operations, sales and marketing of SurveyXact and Heart&Mind. He is passionate about programming languages and compilers, and has built a high-level modeling language for real-time systems and a C-compiler for the MOS6502 CPU. External examiner on Computer Science in Denmark.

Emil Bremer Orloff

Principal Engineer, Partner. Primary software developer within advanced cryptography and zero knowledge. Emil has engineered all of the recent protocols developed at Partisia, including the MACE protocol and the core of the privacy blockchain infrastructure.

Kim Nørskov

Chief Success Officer. Kim is a seasoned project manager with experience across software disciplines and project types. Previously a team manager for user experience consultants and product management. Kim focuses on creating continually learning teams with shared understanding and shared goals — internally with the producing team and externally with stakeholders.

Dorthe Haagen Nielsen

Chief Administrative Officer. Dorthe has extensive experience across administrative tasks. She spent 13 years at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University, as administrative anchor for the Cryptography and Security group. She works on network facilitation, board and steering-committee support, and project and event management at international and interdisciplinary level. At Partisia, she leads office management including People & Culture.

Jesper Buus Nielsen, Professor

Tomas Toft, PhD

Senior Software Developer, Partner. Expert in the application of secure multiparty computation, with specialization in mathematical programming using MPC including Linear Programming. Co-founder of Partisia. Designs and implements MPC protocols for advanced benchmarking. Previously assistant professor in cryptography at Aarhus University.

Kurt Nielsen

Chief Executive Officer, Partner

Kurt Nielsen

Kurt combines Economics and Information Management in developing innovative it-services and businesses. He holds a PhD in Business Economics and did combined graduate studies at the University of Copenhagen, University of Toronto and UC Berkeley. He co-founded Partisia, Energiauktion.dk, Sepior, Partisia Blockchain Foundation and Partisia Quantum and functions as CEO of Partisia Group. Prior to this he worked as Associate Professor at University of Copenhagen combining Economics and Computer Science.

Peter F. Frandsen

Peter has 20 years of experience in the software development industry where he worked as a developer and a manager of both projects and people in Danish companies such as Vestas, Dansk Supermarked and Rambøll Management Consulting. Since 2017 he has worked with developing solutions based on advanced cryptographic technology in Partisia and Secata making ZK computations feasible in real world scenarios. He also serves as an external examiner for the computer sciences in Denmark.

Mark Medum Bundgaard

Mark is a Computer Scientist from Aarhus University, Denmark. He has extensive experience in cloud-native architecture, infrastructure as code, and blockchain architecture. His work has had a huge impact on products used today in industries such as fintech, IoT, and Telco.

In his previous positions, he operated on various projects at TDC NET, Cloud-compliance solutions for Danske Bank, Managed product development for a real-time recommendation engine for Jyllands-Posten, and Toit creating the first secure IoT platform.

Jesper Balman Gravgaard

Jesper has extensive experience with successfully creating and operating complex software. His previous position was as a Director responsible for development, operations, sales and marketing of the leading SaaS products SurveyXact and Heart&Mind with thousands of customers and millions of users. He is passionate about programming languages and compilers, and has previously created a high-level modeling language for real-time systems, a DSL for filters and queries in datasets and most recently a C-compiler for the MOS6502 CPU. Jesper is also an external examiner on Computer Science for MSc / Bachelor of Engineering examinations in Denmark.

Dorthe has extensive experience working with a wide range of administrative tasks. She spent 13 years at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University, working as an administrative anchor for i.a. the Cryptography and Security group. Dorthe has worked with network facilitation and management support to board of directors and steering committees, center-, project- and event management at international level and in interdisciplinary settings. Jakob holds a PhD in computer science from Aarhus University and is a member of the Danish Council for IT Security as well as being part of the committee for it security at the Confederation of Danish Industry.
